Description
As the sun sinks below the horizon, the light turns amber and the rules loosen. Nothing was planned, and everything seems to have been. Music from the street below has dropped to a murmur, and you are sitting closer to them than you meant to.
It opens with a handful of red fruit, raspberry, lychee and blackberry, ripe to the point of staining, with saffron running through it like a thread of gold. Then Turkish rose, deep in colour and slightly bitter, with red currant, violet and a drift of olibanum smoke. The dry-down belongs to oud and leather, sweetened with amber and settled by patchouli, cypriol and sandalwood.
